This position leads a consolidated team of RISE Career Coaches to assist team members in the areas of employment retention, crisis management, job development and career planning. Ensures compliance with AbilityOne and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) regulations through documentation oversite, regulatory compliance and guidance on best practices. Develops and implements team strategies to assist Team Members with achieving their personal and career related goals and RISE to their highest level of personal success. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements the strategies and standard operating procedures for Goodwill’s RISE Coaching program.
2. Directs and monitors the activities of all Coaches on the People and Culture Team by scheduling and overseeing work assignments, setting priorities, conducting case file audits, directing the work to achieve service outcomes, and evaluating the effective delivery of services.
3. Manages a high performing team of Coaches responsible for the following:
a. Providing individualized and quality supportive services, skill development and career planning to internal team members.
b. Plan, organize, and conduct private individual coaching session(s) on an as needed basis for team members.
c. Provide assistance to team members in developing individual employment plans and action plans and assist team members with career development.
d. Perform assessments to identify abilities, talents, interests, and personality characteristics in order to help develop and identify personal and professional goals.
e. Be a reliable resource who can connect emotionally and socially with assigned caseload.
f. Provides support and maintains open communication with all relevant stakeholders.
g. Monitors team members in given caseload to assist with completion and/or accomplishment of goals through individual and/or group meetings.
h. Refer individuals to supportive services to include, but not limited to housing, food, financial literacy, debt counseling, mental health, domestic violence, child care, etc. and provide concrete information such as where to go and how to apply.
i. Accurately record electronic case notes that are objective, current, non-judgmental, clear, and concise and that outline action taken as a result of the contact. Assist in maintaining up-to-date information (i.e., address, telephone number, etc) in electronic case file database. Ensure that all current program processes and procedures are followed.
j. Provide ongoing support until the team member has met their goals or no longer desires services.
k. Collaborate with internal and external resource specialists to compile and study occupational, educational, and economic information to aid team members in making and carrying out vocational, educational and personal goals and objectives.
4. Ensures all services and internal processes meet compliance and requirements of relevant licensing and accrediting bodies (i.e. CARF and AbilityOne). This includes oversight of AbilityOne RISE Coaching Program and components in the Contracts department:
a) Monthly and quarterly reviews of all documentation in support of AbilityOne compliance including, but not limited to: Individual Employment Support Plans (IESPs), Disability Qualification Determinations (DQDs) and Participating Employee Information (PEI).
b) Maintains up to date policies and procedures and compliance with all CARF accreditation standards.
5. Responsible for overseeing connections and partnerships with local community service providers to enhance the menu of support services provided to team members (e.g. housing, food, childcare, transportation, clothing, medical insurance, mental health, services to families, children, individuals who are elderly, persons with disabilities, emergency assistance, etc.).
6. Maintains a stakeholder feedback system with team members, people managers and external service agencies to drive continuous improvement through feedback analysis and makes program service modifications and enhancements as needed.
7. Utilizes available systems and data to track and communicate progress against expected outcome targets and inform on strategic and operational approaches.
8. Provide in depth guidance, timely coaching and feedback to the team to ensure their success on meeting key accountability standards (i.e. outcome measurement, goals, IESPs, placements, retention, etc.)
9. Develops and maintains project plans that establishes a timetable for accomplishing assigned program outcomes.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serves as main point of contact for internal and external auditing of case files.
2. Liaise with Marketing to drive accurate staging of activities and ensure necessary program visibility.
3. Develops, maintains, and analyzes budget to maintain expenditure controls.
4. Uses key coaching principles to establish good interpersonal relationships by helping team members feel valued and appreciated.
5. Assists in conducting workshops
6. Other job related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Hire and supervise a team of RISE Coaches.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, counseling, psychology, rehabilitation services, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in field.
3. Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in providing services to individuals with differing abilities and disadvantages including providing employment or business services to diverse populations.
4. Proven experience in leading and executing end-to-end program compliance audits, including planning, execution, and reporting on adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
5. Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA) or ability to obtain KSA in Americans with Disability Act, job accommodations, assistive technology, learning styles, and Universal Design for Learning.
6. Ability to pass a Federal background investigation to gain access to AbilityOne contract sites to provide coaching services.
7. Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local regulations governing casework techniques.
8. Demonstrated career coaching skills, customer focus, active listening, flexibility, oral and written communications, critical thinking and interpersonal sensitivity.
9. Knowledge of assistive technology and work adaptive equipment.
10. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate in a team setting.
11. Demonstrated empathy and respect for individuals with multiple barriers to employment.
12. Able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, work independently and carry out responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.
13. Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; advance knowledge to use the Internet to perform searches and obtain information.
14. Access to reliable transportation to delivery services in remote locations, attend trainings, and meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bilingual
2. Knowledge of the AbilityOne Program
3. Knowledge of CARF regulations and experience implementing or managing CARF accredited programming.
