Overview

Oversight and responsibility for quality standards and practices to collect, interpret, and analyze disparate data sets. It also facilitates internal and cross-departmental collaboration to foster transparency and accountability for maintaining quality data. Develops efficient ways to organize, store and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality. This position is responsible and will be held accountable for behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values and expectations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Data and Reporting Specialist(s) and Administrative Coordinator to ensure the integrity of GGW’s data management and validation standards.
• Customize the CaseWorthy database (as needed) to ensure that needed data is captured, recorded, and retrieved for all Community Impact programs and initiatives.
• Support the Community Impact Team by ensuring that all mission-related data collected in the CaseWorthy Case Management system is accurate and meets business needs and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) requirements.
• Create recurring and ad hoc reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations using CaseWorthy reporting features; analyze the results, resolve any data integrity issues, and communicate data findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and define data analysis requirements.
• Coordinate the collection and submission of mission-related data required by Goodwill Industries International for the Annual Statistical Report (ASR).
• Prepare and conduct training sessions for all appropriate staff on the use of the CaseWorthy database, including the proper entry and retrieval of data. Respond to all staff questions on how to use the database.
• Leverage Learning Management System (LMS) reports to ensure consistency and accuracy between data sources.
• Interpreting Community Impact data insights to identify trends and translating them into actionable recommendations to optimize processes and drive programmatic growth.
• Develop and maintain data entry and reporting schedules, procedures, and policies for the division and ensure adherence to all.
• Performs other job-related duties and complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum 5 years experience in data analysis and 4 years as a supervision or related role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels within the organization. The business analyst will routinely work with staff to understand current business processes and will present findings and recommendations to the executive team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and to work on several assignments concurrently.
• Exceptional data analysis and presentation skills – ability to “slice and dice” data from various sources and to create information that is useful for making business decisions.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and other Office applications, especially Excel (pivot tables and macros), SharePoint, TEAMs, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous work experience with a non-profit organization
• Experience with CaseWorthy or a similar CRM.
